What is a Mastermind Group?
A Mastermind Group is a peer-to-peer brainstorming group where business owners and/or senior executives meet regularly to share ideas and find solutions to specific business challenges within a facilitated meeting session. Mastermind groups offer a combination of brainstorming, education, peer accountability and support to address your top concerns, sharpen your business and personal skills and inspire action to help you be more successful. Mastermind groups are led by a facilitator to help the group to dive deeply into fruitful discussions, and work with each member to create success — as each member defines it.
The Mastermind group of peers from non-competing industries requires commitment, confidentiality, and willingness to both give and receive advice and ideas. The group members support each other with total honesty, respect and compassion. Mastermind group members act as catalysts for growth, devil’s advocates and supportive colleagues.
A Mastermind group is not a mentoring or networking group. Everyone in the group shares advice, ideas and feedback, with problem-solving and action planning at the forefront.
